Step 4 Video on Starting Your Business Website Choosing a Domain Name
When I originally copleted step 2 a couple of weeks ago, I used the only domian I had (Pearland.ws). But after studying learning, I since realized that I want to brand my people search engine with a name that is easy to remember and relates to the function of the site. Therefore, last night, I deleted my original GDI Hosted domain (Pearland.ws) from step 2. Then I repeated step 2, and re-entered a new GDI hosted domain with a more appropriate name: friendfreefinder.com. But for some reason, when I try to go to the site, it does not display my ACME People Search site. Intead, my new friendfreefinder domain directs traffic to one of the GDI promotional videos instead. Hi Guys, This is my first post, so hello everyone! I've looked around the forum quite a bit so far and everyone seems really nice and super helpful, so I'm glad to join all you guys and the ACME people search program. Obviously, having just started up, i'm eager to get going and also have lot's of questions too! Anyway, back to my point!!! I have set up my domain using GDI, but i am also interesting in setting up hosting through Hostgator. Having looked through the forum, this seems to be recommended and for my purposes i think this will be best. However, having set up GDI, i can't find the link to Hostgator in my back office so that my referrer will benefit from my sign up. It's probably me just being stupid, but there's so much to try and take in when you're just starting out. Obviously, I want them to get credit, that's the point in this business right? So can anyeone point me in the right direction of what to do next? Also, along the same lines, i have seen all the Hostgator coupon codes. Obviously, just starting up i'm trying to keep costs down, so these are great, the first month for 1 dollar, perfect. My question is about domain registration.
